Om Barahate

Om is a Technical Director with a strong background in virtual production and a passion for working with LED walls. He is currently completing the Virtual Production Graduate Certificate Program at Humber Polytechnic, expecting to graduate in summer 2025. In his current role as System Technical Director, Om has honed his technical expertise, communication skills, and collaboration skills. He was part of a team that worked through a complex ICVFX pipeline to produce the short film No Signal.  Before joining the virtual production world, Om worked at Framestore, where he contributed to high-profile projects like Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Willy Wonka, and many others. His previous experience also includes roles in various areas of technical production, equipping him with a diverse skill set in visual effects and advanced technology.  Om's ultimate career goal is to continue growing as a Technical Director, with a focus on working with LED Volume technology. He is also eager to contribute to R&D in areas related to virtual production and immersive technologies.
